Slope stability assessment studies the risk of sloping ground. Aided by specialised engineering computer software Slide 2 and our in-depth geotechnical knowledge, we are able to conduct comprehensive slope stability assessment and provide economical and safe remediation designs.

We gather on site geological and hydrological information and assess groundwater seepage for engineering studies or designs.

We provide the design of retaining walls including timber, steel beam, MSE, RSS and gravity wall to accommodate changes in grade for subdivision lots in sloping area or protecting site integrity.

We can assist with designs of building foundations, such as raft and pile foundations, to suit specific site conditions, including all Technical Category (TC) soils and general acceptable foundation solutions as given in NZS3604.

Our geotechnical report identifies any undesirable soils on site and offers ground improvement methods to meet the requirements set for the Specific Engineer Design (SED) foundations. Our geotechnical engineers and technicians will provide inspection on the ground improvement construction. 

We are able to conduct earthwork fill control and pavement testing for small to large scale land development in accordance with NZS4402.

It is frequently required to have a stormwater system to manage stormwater runoff.  We can design various stormwater systems to suit specific site conditions and constraints in support of consent application.

Wastewater assessment includes soil permeability test and design of treatment system (primary and secondary septic tank, effluent disposal field, etc.) to comply with Building Code G13 Foul Water and local council’s requirements.
